Property Description

High in the hills of West Shokan sits a home with a story in every beam -- literally. Custom-built by master craftsmen, this house centers on massive reclaimed timbers once part of a Manhattan skyscrapers crane platform, now holding court as the soul of the architecture. Refined custom millwork carries that same attention to detail through every room, striking a balance between rugged material history and modern polish. Outside, a generous terrace unfolds over the property -- the kind of spot where morning coffee turns into an hour you didnt plan for, and evenings end with the sky doing something spectacular over the mountains. And when its time to leave the view behind: legendary Catskills hiking trails are just minutes away, Bread Alone in Boiceville is a five-minute drive for your coffee-and-pastry fix, the local supermarket keeps errands painless, and community tennis courts are on hand for friendly competition. This is mountain living with its edges sanded smooth -- wild outside, warm and considered within.
